Myth, Mysticism and ME

PRESENTER: Shakti Sunfire

WORKSHOP: Myth, Mysticism and ME

“Art is a deception that creates real emotions‚ a lie that creates a truth. And when you give yourself over to that deception, it becomes magic.”  – Marco Tempest

Magic is born of a great story. This hoopcircle presentation is an opportunity to dive into our own inner ‘unknowns’ that are true seeds of creative, artistic expression. The crossroads where ‘truth’ and ‘untruth’ merge in service of the ineffable is a place of great personal power. We’ll explore how the stories we tell ourselves shape the contours of our lives for both good and evil. Excavating the hidden meanings of great stories from around the world we’ll step into our intended role as alchemist, to turn ‘myth’ into ‘magic’. Please bring a journal and a pen.
